Drafting services for builders

Builders use us two ways: overflow drafting when your own pipeline is full, and model line work, a set of plans drawn once and built repeatedly. Either way the drawings come back in your title block, on your standards, ready for your process. The Valley Casita Co. model line in the portfolio is five plans of ours a builder sells from today.

What you get

As-builts from one site visit

Existing conditions measured and drafted in a single trip, ready to draw against.

Permit sets

Plans, elevations, sections, and details drafted to your template and your sheet order.

Your standards

Title blocks, sheet naming, layer conventions, and detail libraries matched to your existing set.

Revisions in the bid window

Changes turned around while the number is still live, with revision clouds and deltas tracked.

Submittal packages

Everything the jurisdiction asks for, assembled and ready for your submittal.

Corrections handled

If the plan reviewer sends redlines, the set gets revised until it is approved.

Who this is for

Builders and remodelers

You have more work than drafting capacity, or no drafter on staff. We draft as an extension of your team: same standards, same sheet order, same title block, so the set that comes back is indistinguishable from your own. Corrections come back to us, we revise them, and you resubmit until the permit is in hand.

Questions we get

Before you start

Can you work in our template?

Yes. Your title block, your layer standards, your sheet order, your detail library. The set should look like it came from your office, because as far as your client is concerned, it did.

How fast can you turn a set around?

Depends on the scope, and we would rather give you a real date than a fast one. What we can promise is that the date we give at the start is the date the set arrives, and if a correction round comes back, the revisions get turned around promptly.
